The short version. Grasp is free educational content. Use it, learn from it, share what you learn. It is not professional advice and we cannot promise it is perfect.
Using Grasp
Grasp is provided free by AI4Africa. You may use it for personal learning and you may teach others what you learn from it. You will need an account, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself.
What the content is and is not
Grasp is educational. It explains how AI systems work in general terms and describes rights that exist in several countries.
It is not legal advice. Data protection law differs by country and changes, and a lesson cannot know your circumstances. Where a decision matters, speak to someone qualified in your jurisdiction.
It is not career, financial or medical advice. World 3 describes patterns in how automation has affected work. It is not a prediction about your job.
Accuracy
We work hard to get this right and we will be wrong sometimes. The field moves quickly, figures go out of date, and some of what we describe is genuinely contested. If you find an error, tell us at hello@ai4africaorg.com and we will fix it.
Your account
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the service or other people, which in practice has not happened and we hope will not.
Content ownership
The lessons, illustrations and code are owned by AI4Africa. You may quote and teach from them with attribution. You may not republish the course wholesale or sell it.
Anything you write inside the app is yours. Reflections stay on your device and we never see them.
Availability
Grasp is offered as it is. We do not guarantee it will always be available or free of faults, and we are not liable for loss arising from using it or being unable to.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change and we will tell you in the app about anything significant.
