I cannot sign in
Check the email address for typos first, then use the password reset on the sign-in screen. If the reset email does not arrive within a few minutes, look in spam. Still nothing, write to us with the address you used.
My progress disappeared
Progress is tied to your account, not your phone, so signing in on any device restores it. If you are signed in and it is still missing, tell us which lessons you had finished and roughly when, and we will look.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to You → Settings → Account → Delete account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. It removes everything immediately and permanently.
If you cannot get into the app, email privacy@ai4africaorg.com from the address on the account.
Is it really free?
Yes. No subscription, no adverts, no paid tier. AI4Africa is a nonprofit and Grasp is funded as education, not as a product.
Why is a lesson locked?
Lessons unlock in order, because each one builds on the last. Finish the one before it. You can browse everything under Topics without unlocking.
Nothing is due in Review
That is correct rather than broken. Ideas come back on a schedule that spreads out as you get them right, so quiet days are the system working. You can tap Practise anyway to go through cards early without changing the schedule.
Something in a lesson is wrong
Tell us. Write to hello@ai4africaorg.com with the lesson name and what is wrong. We take this seriously; a course about checking AI output has no business being sloppy with facts.
Can I use Grasp to teach?
Please do. Teach from it, quote it, run sessions with it. If you are using it with a school or organisation, write to us and we will help.
Accessibility
Grasp works with VoiceOver and TalkBack, and it respects the system Reduce Motion setting. If something is hard to use, tell us and we will fix it.
